Cambria II- Azzura 50 Commuter

Cambria II was designed by Sydney firm Murray, Burns & Dovell, with a brief to recreate the style of the commuter boats in use on the US north-east coast at the turn of the 20th Century. She was designed for running around Sydney Harbour, however the Gold Coasts Broadwater, Port Phillip Bay or the Whitsundays would suit her gracious pedigree as well.

Constructed by Azzura Yachts at Gold Coast City Marina, Cambria II’s hull was built in hand-laid E-glass and vinylester resin, with balsa core vacuumed in to place and post-cured. The timber decking and interior fit-out is Burmese teak, with two-pack paint providing the stunning finish.

Cambria II is powered by twin 420hp Yanmar turbo diesels, providing speeds of up to 30knots with the light hull weight of around 9.5 tonnes being a contributing factor. Although designed as a day boat, she performs really well in a chop or seaway made possible by her fine entry bow.

The master cabin is in the forepeak with plenty of hanging space and a flat screen TV. The salon is open and opulent with cream leather seating around a craftsman finished dining table. The galley is u shaped with refrigeration, microwave and cook-top complimented by a full size pantry providing plenty of dry storage.

There is a double bunk room to starboard opposite the full size bathroom located at the bottom of the companionway stairs.
The huge open cockpit enclosed perfectly by the hard top with sunroof is an entertainers dream with panoramic vision from the helm and seating areas.

Cambria II is seriously for sale, a vessel admired by many and ready for her new owners to enjoy before Christmas with annual servicing and anti-foul completed end of October 2011.Inspection by appointment is necessary- Call Mark on 0416 231312
