The concept of Izana was to create a classically-styled speedboat, in the spirit of the 1960’s Riva’s, but with a modern twist.
From Oxford, UK, to the French Riviera, IZANA’s life has been a glamorous one. In 2001 IZANA won the Motor Boat and Yachting most beautiful boats of the year. Her early years were spent cruising the French Riviera from Antibes to Monaco before heading to Montenegro and then shipped to Auckland in time for the 2020 Americas Cup.
After her arrival she was straight into the shed for a full restoration which included fitting her 2 new Mercruiser 6.2l V8’s.
After spending a number of days out on the water watching the America’s Cup, her current owner jumped on the opportunity to purchase and save her from returning to the UK with the plan to move her down to lake Wakatipu, Queenstown, which is where she is today. The recently fitted canopy and electric anchor windlass make for the perfect lake cruiser.
After a change in owner circumstances, IZANA is now presented to the market and offers an amazing opportunity to own a true piece of British history.
